Travel at your own pace
All you need to do is buy a round trip intercontinental ticket to Italy on any SkyTeam partner airline to become eligible to purchase the Italy Pass.

Example: An adult passenger travelling Rome - Napoli - Milano - Bari - Rome will pay 218 USD for a SkyTeam Italy Pass with 4 coupons. The conventional air fare would be 277 USD.

Eligibility

Tickets may not be sold in Italy or Europe. The first intercontinental travel segment must show arrival in Italy and not include any previous stopover in Europe. The Italy Pass can be sold in conjunction with an intercontinental SkyTeam frequent flyer award ticket.

Rebooking & rerouting

Rebooking is permitted without penalty provided the ticket is changed prior to the original coupon travel date and the same class of service is available. If the same class is not available, passengers may change to the next higher level fare and pay the fare difference plus taxes. Changes are not permitted in case of no-show. Please contact your local travel agent, airline office before departure or Alitalia Call Center (06 2222) directly after departure, to make any Italy Pass changes. Rerouting is not permitted.

Reservations and Ticketing

Reservations are required for all SkyTeam Italy Pass coupons prior to a passenger's departure from his/her intercontinental point of origin.

Miles earning

Mileage accumulation is allowed on a SkyTeam Italy Pass. Passengers can earn miles on all domestic destinations in Italy by presenting their SkyTeam member airline frequent flyer program card at check-in.

Baggage allowance

The same as the country of origin of the intercontinental flight where the SkyTeam Italy Pass was issued.
