Future SkyTeam Members
SkyTeam accelerated its growth in 2010 when China Eastern, China Airlines, Garuda Indonesia and Aerolíneas Argentinas announced their future membership. This expansion continued in 2011 with the announcements of Saudi Arabian Airlines, Middle East Airlines and Xiamen Airlines. By early 2013 the alliance will have grown to 20 members, with a stronger network in the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Latin America and a solid #1 position in the Greater China region. And SkyTeam is still working to further strengthen its global network by actively monitoring specific opportunities in key growth areas Brazil and India.
