If you are already a member of the frequent flyer program of a SkyTeam Member airline you’re one step closer to becoming a SkyTeam Elite member each time you travel on a SkyTeam Member airline.
Always provide your frequent flyer number when you make a reservation on a qualifying SkyTeam flight (1) or when checking in (online, at a desk or using a kiosk) to ensure that your Miles are automatically credited to your frequent flyer program account.
Please store your boarding pass and flight ticket receipts (purchase confirmation receipt for e-tickets) safely until your mileage accrual for the corresponding flight has been confirmed.
Redeem miles
As a member of a SkyTeam Member airline’s frequent flyer program you can easily redeem your Miles for an award ticket on any SkyTeam-operated flight worldwide.
Only one reservation is required, regardless of the SkyTeam airline you travel on and irrespective of whether multiple SkyTeam Member airlines are in your itinerary.
You can use your Miles towards special SkyTeam Travel Passes. Redeem Miles for a “Go Round the World” pass that allows travel on any combination of SkyTeam-operated flights to travel around the world.

SkyTeam Mileage Upgrade Program
As a SkyTeam frequent flyer you can use your Miles to upgrade from Economy to Business Class on international flight itineraries on most of the SkyTeam Member airlines (Aeroflot, Aeroméxico, Air France, China Airlines, China Southern, Czech Airlines, Delta Air Lines, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines and Korean Air). You can use Award Miles to purchase upgrades for passengers even if you're not traveling with them. (2)
Follow these 3 simple steps to confirm your upgrade:
1. Purchase an international, published, full-fare Economy Class reservation on one of the participating SkyTeam Member airlines. The flight must be marketed and operated by the same SkyTeam carrier, as code-share flights are not permitted.
2. Call the award reservation line of your frequent flyer program at least three days in advance of departure. The agent will verify eligibility, check your account balance and confirm if upgrade seats are available. The number of Miles necessary for an upgrade varies based on the frequent flyer program and the itinerary.
3. If you are eligible, have the necessary Miles in your account and if upgrade seats are available, the agent will debit your frequent flyer account and reissue the tickets with the upgrade confirmed. Then all you have to do is relax and arrive at the airport ready to enjoy the benefits of your upgrade including an additional baggage allowance, priority services and lounge access.
