SkyTeam, the global airline alliance partnering Aeroflot, Aeromexico, Air France, Alitalia, Continental Airlines, Czech Airlines, Delta Air Lines, KLM, Korean Air and Northwest Airlines, sets itself apart by offering an exclusive experience for all passengers. SkyTeam Global Meetings

At the conclusion of its launch year, the SkyTeam Global Meetings product, used to assist international event coordinators, has been extensively used by convention organizers around the world. From Washington, D.C. to Belgrade, Barcelona to Dubai, SkyTeam is the official airline alliance of a range of events and conferences. For example, SkyTeam signed contracts with the World Congress of Science Producers, for their December 2006 meeting in Manchester and the Kofak: Transform 2006 conference, also held in December 2006 in Prague. The network created by SkyTeam’s ten member airlines, allows Global Meeting organizers to promote flight options for attendees no matter where they select the meeting location.

In 2007, SkyTeam expects to further expand the customer base for this successful product. Already, organizations, such as the International Paris Air Show Le Bourget, 3GSM, World Virtual Aviation Congress and Cardiostim, are looking to SkyTeam Global Meetings product for their March 2007 conference in Nairobi. Through the partnership between KLM Royal Dutch Airlines and Kenya Airways, event attendees will have greater access to the area.

In April 2006, SkyTeam, the global airline alliance, expanded its product offerings to serve meeting organizers and planners through SkyTeam Global Meetings has grown in recognition and usage among organizers and attendees of global meetings, conferences and events.

Through SkyTeam Global Meetings, event organizers are able to coordinate all air travel needs across ten member airlines via one single point of contact, while event attendees can receive attractive or discounted airfares and still accrue frequent flyer miles on all SkyTeam carriers. Event attendees can also access the meeting and other information regarding flight schedules via the SkyTeam Web site.
